Behind-The-Scenes Tour of The Avenue

On August 9, The Avenue welcomed bloggers from throughout metro-Atlanta to The Avenue East Cobb for a culinary, fashion and pampered tour of our lifestyle shopping center.
The tour started with wood-fired appetizers and decadent desserts from Brixx Wood Fired Pizza. The bloggers then stepped over to Ann Taylor to preview fall trends and test their fashion savvy by pulling together outfits and sharing why they used various pieces. Then it was on to barre3 to learn how fitness and style go hand-in-hand. The next stop was Williams-Sonoma, where bloggers sampled refreshing Moscow Mule drinks, delicious spice-rubbed nuts and discovered some culinary secrets. The tour then headed to Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa for a behind-the-scenes tour and received exclusive neck and hand massage pampering. Before finishing the trip with delicious appetizers, signature cocktails and pour-your-own-beer taps at Cheeky, the bloggers learned how to create a designer-inspired look for less at the accessory-filled gem, Versona.
The bloggers received gifts along the way and acquired some little known facts about shopping at The Avenue and got a sneak peek of fall trends. Here are some highlights:
- Did you know that Williams-Sonoma, known for its gourmet culinary finds, also has a home department? In fact, its in-home consultants will come to your house, measure and make recommendations on furniture and more.
- What are the hottest trends for fall? Southwest jewelry, fringe and denim. Stay tuned to upcoming blog posts for tips on creating this look.
- Fun fact: The table-top beer tap was invented by the creator of Cheeky, and he’s now licensing the technology on cruise lines like Royal Caribbean.
